Here on the port side the aft ss bolt was removed from the bowsprit / anchor roller mounting brkt to temp install a black reg 3/8" X 3" bolt for installing the stiffner brkt's from there to the ancor locker
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... 64cc9d.jpg
here is the inside veiw from underneath of the floatation chamber that surounds the ancor locker u can see the stiffner brkt installed between the hull & the ancor locker this will all be attachhed to the rear mounting brkt . the right bolt is coming through from the ancor roller mounting brkt & hull then accross to the ancor locker sidewall this means everything is attached to the deck & hull below the deck hull joint thus releaving any stress from the deck hull joint

inside ancor locker side mounting brkt to be cut once postition of cross brace angle is determined
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... 9875a2.jpg
The cross brace will be 3" allum channel , here shown is 3" alum flat bar as a demo

this is all just temp. installed once fitted properly then have to make sure these brkt's will fit the starboard side before marking & drilling the S/B side brkt's & once the inside ancor locker angle mounting brkt's angles have been determined & measured everything will have to be removed to cut these brkt's

then checked for exact fit then all re-installed this part of the process is very time consuming climbing in & out of the boat a hundred times

, then onto the front brkt for completion & installation a little more accessible up front above the bow eye access panell the ancor locker brkts r accessed through one 5" round access panell on each side a big pita I may see if I can buy a wall access panell from home hardware the kind u buy for ur house walls for about 20$ be much easier for further access & re-installing the floation

Truck hinges. Brilliant! So they did
almost fall off the back of a truck, then.
So how did you come across them in that stage of (dis)assembly? Is there a plant near you?
Nice work as usual.

Progress was slow this wk-end , bought more Alum material 65$ , SS hardware $130.00 fri morn , then spent the rest of Fri & Sat with my Daughter & granddaughter
So back @ it on Sun morn started with a peice of Alum Angle 6" X 6" 3/8" thick for the front mounting brkt
http://s844.photobucket.com/user/TheHig ... sort=6&o=0
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... f22ae3.jpg

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... 9e7293.jpg
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... fb9ee2.jpg
Now back to the rear mounting brkt's access is through two previous installed 6" deck plates
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... 425e5d.jpg
These have now been removed & replaced with a 17" X 17" house wall access panel 21$ giving me lots of room for access for this & many more if needed future mods this also makes it a lot easier to remove & re-install the floation
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... b0c5a1.jpg
Here's the panel frame

Will post more pic's tonight of the frame installed

When you're done it'll be solid enough that you'll be able to put it to good use in the off-season, John.

Well bought more material 16" X 3" x3" x 1/4" thick Alum Angle yesterday Fri , & today sat got right back into it freezing my butt off inside both my shops as I'm toooooooooo, cheap !! to heat the joints !!

,
anyway made & finshed off the inside brkt's for the anchor lock
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... ab1187.jpg
The brkt looks un-even & lop-sided just due to the angle the pic was taken
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... e8d619.jpg
S/B inside locker side brkt
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... 0e3e44.jpg
port side inside locker brkt
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... a93c4d.jpg
httNew one peice inside locker center brkt
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... 036e50.jpg
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab1/ ... b61ff6.jpg
This is the complete brkt's assembly it is a 9 peice alum brkt's & 4 plastic "cutting board" backing plates that once assembled altogether inside the boat it all bolts together bringing the hull on both sides & the anchor locker walls making them a one peice assembley so their is no stress on the deck or deck joint
