Can someone recommend a mod to add a pelican hook to the 2002x lifeline. Thanks in advance.

Shoot, I just realized that I've got a pair of these on board someone can have if they want. I went to larger stronger pelican hooks on my new vinyl bonded lifelines that replaced my hacked up lifelines from doing the stern rail seats mod.

I've got no use for them, so if someone wants them send me a PM and you can have them for shipping.

The easiest way (no special tools required and 5 minute installation) is to order a set from Bluewater Yachts. Simply remove the old lifelines (cut one end, unpin the other) then pin one end of the new assembly to the stantion. The other end clips and you simply adjust to the desired tension using a small wrench.

Best way is to remove the lifeline at cockpit as I never had a use for them. only gets in the way going to and from boat.
