From what I remember you don't have to worry at all, it doesn't even really put out that much until 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and then it's just minimal. Seriously, if there were an overcharging problem I would have addressed it. I'm in the electrical field so anything out of the ordinary will bother the heck out of me.
