What the hull happened to that boat. It almost looks like it had a fire or was near one. Has it been sitting there for 10 years? Wow!
Hasp looks nice though.

There were actually a few boat in that condition in the marina. There is a small fleet of crab boat there as well as a lot of people fishing grabs off the peer. It attracts the flying rats...

It's an M (tiny cockpit) - never see an X in this condition.

Also a MacX prior to 1998/1999. Rudders are tell tale and brackets.

If the boats look this bad must be fun swiming in the water.

ive bought boats out of marinas like this ,bought one with 18 hours from a marina sale a few years ago for $51.00 ,the worst is irs to deal with ,banks will allow boats to be pulled and stored but ive seen boats sit for 5-6 waiting for irs to do anything with a asset ,by then its no longer a asset but a liability ,i aggree with whoever said the marina should pull it and at least pressure wash it ,i went to coopermarina sale here in charleston a few months ago ,the most expensive boat that sold that day i bought and paid $100.00 for it and it was a nice boat ,thousands of dollars in electronics ,brass accents ,and equipment will end up on my mac and i sold the boat to a friend who is heading to panama with it ,the lancers brought 50-75 in sailing condition ,point is the macs are the only sailboats i know of that are in demand and holding their value,if the boat in the pic was a catalina that was solid they would have to give it away ,being a mac ,if the hull was in good shape and rigging there i bet i would bring around 3k as it sits ,but i would wanna make sure the hull wasnt blistered ,

That boat is even uglier now that you have suggested it is an IRS boat. lol

HONESTLY???
If that was sitting next to me in the Marina were we slip ..
#1... it'd be gone! Long ago yanked ..
#2. it would have never looked like that in the first place...
I'd have washed it when I washed mine ( quickie power wash for his) Shows a lack of pride ( at first glance anyway) of his slip mates..
What da heck kind of person would let that thing..... sit next to his boat?? I do have my suspicions???
I would never pay to slip my boat among folks like that...
