No plans, no pics, sorry.

This project was difficult to my standards. Because there is no pilot hole for cutting a larger hole into the transom ballast tank, it was necessary to make a plywood template that I screwed onto the hull where the new screws would go for the new gate valve. This guided the hole saw correctly. There is no room for error. :|

If you need to cut it out with a dremmel you could use something like this to reseal the valve:

You could nest a 3" hole saw inside the 4" one and use it as a guide.

Yes, if the factory placed the 3" hole equi-distant from the top and bottom of the tank. The factory was always perfect according to Roger? :wink:
