I said as much to the Polar Navy people. Sheesh.... how long has this standard been out there, and they want us to pay for it? Still for now I'm going to go for the N2K to 0183 to usb converter and wait for the software upgrade, in order to use the present package. The idea of redundancy seems more comforting, so a N2K GPS connected rail mount receiver as well as a strait usb 'puck' doesn't look too pricey. 8)

and in layman's terms????? :D Well the boys will be over Easter... we'll see if they can make heads or tails out of these post since I copied cut and pasted early on...( I AIN'T BUSTING...... Nothing out.. ! :D ) I Bust Enough @#$%^& around here without following them orders.. :)
