True Chip,
BUT if someone would come out to the central coast of CA they could use my boat if they would install a porta-poddy head clean-out system!
After two weekends living on the boat with the admiral and two kids.....I am already tired of emptying out the head when we return back home!
That would be more than a fair trade!
I would even like Moe to come and and inspect my amature wireing!
Regards and Hope all goes well with the Fixed Boat.

I used to make surfboards back in the 60's and a cure time was always brought up to the customer to make sure he allowed the board to strengthen before using. If not the foot would cause indentations. We used to say 3 weeks. We used double 10 ounce cloth with a rail and deck patch. Those boards were beauts though, I still collect them.
I would let this repair job on your ballast sit awhile before filling it up with water. In fact, I let my boat sit a month before I used it as I got it off the factory line and the smell of fiberglass was strong which I took as new.

Chip...
I could leave Moe a "to do" list.....if he wants to do any improvements while using the boat....., probably a bigger problem is the "BOAT BOOK" with the manuals/diagrams/instructions of all the components on board....
Since I am still negotiating with fiberglass on the transom and hull, there may be a few more changes in the aft birth prior to spring...,Between head tank, mascerator pump, hot water heater, lectra san moving, new breaker panel, replace all PO wiring... just to reclaim the full aft birth.........Reading that manual might take most of the first day of his cruise tho.....lol, so hopefully the traders/tradees will enjoy the few spartan creature comforts on board..... (now where did he put that icemaker.......lol).
And as far as changes on mine.... hmmm... Someday that galley is going to be done right....., but probably not this year
