lol I sail as the only Mac with a bunch of Hunters, Odays, C&C's, a Tartan and various others--all of whom start at 30-32' length and go up. Beating to windward, I'm happy to keep them in sight... I do better at staying with most of them on a run or reach. I even made up time on a run with an Oday which shocked him but wasn't enough to offset the whooping he gave me on the close hulled beat in our impromptu race... I look forward to the day I acheive that coveted 5% so that I can remind them all....again and again... :evil:

At least under power, I'm the undisputed champion in the fleet... :P

no no no!

a properly modified Mac with a junior-league superhero at the helm can maintain 7mph beating into the wind, don't you know. None of those other boats could match that, surely?
