Ahoy Meadsters,

First off Capt. Kimo, thanks for the link to your maps. I was able to find them and print them out for reference.

Newell, I wish I could take you up on your offer, I could use help but I have a full boat. You need to check it out. I have actually been ordered to bring the boogie boards! We already have the wetsuits and snorkeling gear. But it is not for me to argue with the powers that be.

On that note, we are running a bit behind schedule. We are hoping to be ready to launch Sunday am, but again, I have been informed that we will be doing the Hoover Dam tour this year. The consensus is that we need to do it before we launch or we will just not get around to it. It might delay us for a day. If so I still hope to meet you guys on the way back maybe.

Be careful on the way out there guys. We (the Westliest Southwest) are scheduled for high wind events for the next couple of days. They can occur anytime this time of year. I have had the pleasure of driving through a dust devil before and do not want to try it with a Mac in tow!

Wish me luck in my prepping and I hope to see you guys on the beach.

Ahoy Mad Meaders,

It was great fun meeting you all on the lake and I have some preliminary pics to share. Later we will have to PM to swap some photos directly.

That's Temple Bar Marina, I guess with the Temple in the background. If you zoom in you can see Mac Row on the courtesy dock.

Boy is this photo ever misleading, considering we just spent the night hiding in Temple Bar from the gales that raked us the past two nights. It seemed like every day had a combination of wicked winds and total calm.

I will post some more when I get the chance. I still need to extract some photos from my son's camera.

Ahoy Meaders,

No other brag photos? I finally got some pics off my son's camera. Enjoy.

Middle Point, pretty much the middle of the lake. Before the night was through we had seven boats in that cove. My thanks to all the heroes who were up at 3:00 am to help me straighten up my boat.

OK, Tropico, this is probably the most protected spot on the lake from the SW winds. Our last night on the lake.
