Merry Christmas from the Admiral and me!
Not in FL, but with family, so all is well.
I checked, but there wasn't a Mac under the tree anywhere...gotta be a mistake...Santa's elves need to get on the ball!!
Doug, I really liked the
blue lights!! Nice touch...they looked like
really fast lights!
Divecoz, I appreciate your comment and wholeheartedly agree!
Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, and have a Happy New Year as well!!

Doug,
Nice video. Looks so fast with the blue lights on. We have a neighbor who put lights on his boat next to his house.
I'm envious of your barn.

Up here in the frozen Canadian north, we sail in the summer, then when the water freezes in winter, we play hockey. It's a win-win situation

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hi everyone
A belated Merry Christmas and happy new year from Perth W.A. down under. We had a White hull

Christmas on Rottnest Island W.A. in 38degC temps and 26 at night. We hope you all don't have, to cold a blue hull

new year up there in the northern winters.

Seasons Greetings from Northern Virginia...hope everyone had a great Christmas (or the celebration of your choice) and is ready for a Happy New Year.
Federal holiday on Friday...wife & daughter out of town...temps forecast to hit 50...sounds like the perfect situation for some News Years eve sailing...opportunity to motor up into DC and anchor overnight and see if there will be any fireworks.
Since I am playing hooky from work today (it's my birthday and my son is in town until tomorrow) I figured I would zip over to the marina at Ft. Belvoir and take a look at my boat...it's been a month since I was last out there.
The marina is FROZEN SOLID...what's up with that??? The marina is about a mile or so off the Potomac up Dogue Creek. The water is fairly still and shallow at the marina...and now it is frozen solid...I would guess an inch thick at least. We had about 10 days or so where it did not get much above freezing. Temps are supposed to rise next week so hopefully the ice will break up and maybe I can get out sometime in January.
So instead of News Years sailing looks like I will have to play golf instead.
Happy New Years!!!
Cheers,
Jim

For those of you in the winter doldrums, our sailing club is having its January 1st "instead of football" race around the Oriental markers, WISH Y'ALL WERE HERE

Ummmm. No.
As I sit here comfortably near my computer with my feet up, I look outside, and the windchill is -36C. I think I'll pass.

We were in New York City from the 24th to the 27th. We had a white "two days after Christmas". Where ever you were, the Admiral and I hope all had a great holiday. Whatever one celebrates
