Divecoz,
My marina buddy, Marvin, pulled this mess out on the dock this summer after
one year in the water, Sidney BC in the PNW. Mine has a hefty 15hp Yamaha
on the stern so I run it up on the beach every once in a while and scrape the
little buggers off. Fortunately my sailboat has very good ablative bottom paint
on it. It was hauled out last week and all I saw was a couple of barnacles on the
saildrive leg. Not bad for three years.

Thanks for the clarification .. C130 shows what he got in 8 weeks and I am amazed.......What I had after 14 weeks in Charlotte Harbor ( winter) what his boat shows in the very top 1 to 2 inches .. Scum is all ..and a few pin head barnacles as well . DaveB seemed to clear things up a bit as well.. Thanks Guys....
