It's bolted on the transom just like other outboards of that size! Same as a 26X or 26M. 
The 19 was designed for a 40HP.

Yeah I to have done the stand on the brakes when reversing down the ramp but the kids leave blood all over the interior of the boat when there noses hit the ladder and my wife won't clean it off so its to much trouble for me.

See people talking about the 19...saw a couple on sale on a website I was lurking around recently...what's the story on them? Looks like a baby 26M!

One of the last things I do before backing our boat down the launch ramp is to loosen the winch strap and put about six inches of slack into it. Be sure to lock it in place at that point! Also, make sure that the ballast gate is closed.
These allow the boat to float off the trailer much earlier than otherwise.
