Simple little test, on still water, board and rudders up.

Wind out the OB with the tank full. (We get about 18knots.)

Open the gate valve, and wind her out as the tank empties. (We get up to about 22knots.)

But these numbers vary according to how much stuff (or people) we have on board.

( Let me add, best enjoyed in the company of stink boats.)

Tks
C ya.

18-22 knots from a 50, wow. Wish my 50 would have performed like that. I always told people in mph when asked how fast the boat goes, 15mph sounds better than 13 knots. You must have an e teck?
best I mean absolute best my suz 50 ever got in my boat was 17mph empty tank. That was till a swell hit and slowed it down to 15mph. any extra weight in my boat and those numbers were more like 11-14 mph.

Still I was able to max out the rpm in the 6000 rpm range, that was just all she had to give, poor little engine that thought it could, but couldnt....
Maybe if I took the fridge and the toys and tools out of the boat I could have done better. Maybe if I lost 30 pounds that would have helped too.
