Hey Bransher....great link....the whole publication was informative. We will check out the Reese SC...sure looks good, however both this and the Equal-izer brand are quite a bit more pricey than the conventional units. More parts, more bucks... Thanks for the link. 8) Jack

I just retired from trucking and would like to weigh in on this matter of towing.
Notice, the next time you are going down a long grade the breaking tracks, I call them stupid or U haul tracks. They wander around all lanes then into the ditch. I have seen some really bad ones. One such section of road in tennessee, I counted half dozen such marks. Personal experience with people, and trailers is, I stay away from them. Had one young person at over 70 mph, almost take the front off my truck, lucky for me I was prepared. She slowed down then went on to pass me. She didn't land in the ditch, but didn't get the hint. When there is snow or ice on the road, if you can, park and wait until the sand trucks come out, the wait may save you a lot of time. And really go slow, don't bother with others that are in a hurry, you might see them in the ditch up the road. I like the idea of these equalizer bars and will look into them. When it comes to to towing, safer is more better. Now that I am retired I plan to sail my M on a lot of water, I have had to pass the last 15 years, :macm: go slow and stop at the tourists traps.
