Rich, maybe best solution is get a 1200 watt gen. like mine for $129 at Northern tools that powers my 5050 btu air condition and fits in front of the X well to power all needs. (have to shut down AC to power Micro).
I need to take pictures of my companion way for the AC fit and post it.

This year I put in a 1KW inverter (Surge 1250) $75.00 CAN on sale from Canadian Tire and a $30.00 (on sale) 650 W microwave oven on my :macx: . The only problem is the microwave only works on one outlet of the inverter (not a biggie). It works well for heating sandwiches and beverages. I also purchased a one cup coffee maker (300W) it makes pretty good coffee. So for a third of the price I can heat lunch and make coffee :)

Would you mind giving a product review of the generator shown. They recently opened a Northern Tool Shop in Jacksonville and I am planning a visit in the next week or so. I might put this generator on my list.
Thanks

John, for $139 you get what you pay for but I found this unit powers my 5050 AC on board and fits in the Motor well. It is low profile and very little vibration sitting on four rubber leg pads.
It is louder than the Honda 1000 (DBA 68 compared to Hondas 59) but can not hear it down below with AC and hatch closed.
Tho it is 2 cycle it doesn't smoke, think it weighs 38 lbs. Mine is the 1200 watt but was down Northern tools and say one 1000 watts.
I give it a 9 for price and performance.

We purchased the Honda eu2000ei power supply and it works great; high reliability, weighs 47# fully gased, and extremely quiet. Great investment. We purchased it two years same as cash and $930. :D
