Cheryl at BWY in Seattle caught this first I think and tipped us off - we both have communicated this back to the factory that the trailers need some better QC.

Philip - those brake calipers dont look right imho. Those bleeders have to be at the top of the caliper otherwise you wont be able to get air out of them - it will bubble on the top and not come out of the caliper. The Champion kit I am installing (from Kodiak) has a bevel on the caliper so that when mounted in the 3 o/c position, the bleeder is at the high point.

Thanks to Kelly's advise I adjusted my wheel - fender clearance. As I expected, once I removed the wheel it was pretty obvious what he was talking about. Btw it is not good enough if you just loosen that big bolt and nut and try to pry out the torsion bar; read Kelly's instructions: remove the bolt... :)

Here is a picture what it looks like:

We have been really busy....have 50 cubic meters of concrete to put down, so have done nothing on the trailer since last friday.

Then we were having trouble bleeding the brakes.......can't get them to stay hard = has to be air in them. Spent probably 30 mins at it....
We were wondering what to try next...
Thanks for your comment...........no guesses as to what we are going to do next??

That's the issue we are faced with when we get things in bits and no instructions....will be ready for the next little sucker tho!!

Will keep you posted, when we get time.
