We went to Soft Toppers Store in Boulder Co. and were impressed with their quality products. I would not hesitate to get their MS cover. However, jib sleve covers really beat up your sail and vibrate the rigging. We take our jib down and bag it at the slip.

I've never taken my jib off the headstay. I wonder if it would be just as easy.

I have a Schaeffer Snapfurl and it is a piece of cake to remove the jib.

Roller furling or not he is correct. Jib sleeves flog like crazy.
On my 97 our Jib cover is a pacthwork of repairs. I just brought it home last weekend for another.
My mainsail cover looks new.

I went to a local sewing shop and had them make a Genoa/jib cover for me. After it is up I twist it so that it does not vibrate in the wind.

this may not make JAMES V very happy, but I picked up a good sheet [ during a rubbish throwout] off the side of the road, of imitation deerhide, what they cover sofa's with. It makes a very good pedestal cover and is waterproof. Just drape it over, wrap the corners and tie it around with a 1 inch pram strap. cost...$000000.
