Hey Bahama,
Sounds like you're feeling me with 3 digit hp
2nd motor didn't sell yet. & it may not. I just relisted it.
Vic - That Suzi is Shweet. But I got no support by me
Still on E-tec kool aid.
What's Suzi's #'s? CC & gearing & weight...
I know - you never ask a girls age or weight

Update:
We're in "hurry up & wait" mode here till probably March. I sold my '06 motor on my transom. & Am gonna take the $5700 trade in on the '11 I dragged up from SC. I made Maybe $300 on my $4000. Ebay sale. After you take out the $480.00 Ebay took in fees. Turns out my local buyer is closely related to the Evinrude dealer I had originally purchased motor from. I cant say that he's entirely happy with me as I took my business to another dealer
The 2015 deal is 7 year extended warrantee from Evinrude, 3+2+2.
I think they already calculated in the NY/LI Boat Show pricing @ $9300 motor price for the 115 Pontoon. But I'll check. Still trying to scrape up an additional $2k so I might could make a play for a V6 135 or 150, @ 30#'s more on transom; but he's hesitant on installing a V6 on my transom
I won't have any trial runs till April earliest. & there's so little realworld feedback on the E-tecs.
The other conclusion I've come to is I should prop for ballast in+ full load weight, to not bog down engine which I may have done
Oh yeah, Happy New Year All & Thanks Heath for website update. Donation to follow...
Nudge, nudge all...

Got "The Call" today. The new motor is on
Pics to follow - when I can get to Marina
We're still a long way from being able to test. Like May. But time is marching on.
It's a 115 Pontoon...
Time will tell, but I'm hoping for good things...
P. S. We got 10-12" in Qns, NY this past Tues.

With a few more inches coming.
It's not The Great Northway but it ain't boating season either

Sounds like a road trip south is in order
What prop are you starting with?
First week of April is the perfect time for the Va/Carolina canal loop. Mostly motoring & would get her broken in just in time for the NY season

It's always boating season down here! That's why you have a trailer...!

Ah the temptation, Alex

For a road trip...
I'm gonna start with my current prop which was really too much. It's a 4 blade 13.75 x 11. I'll go through all I have here: 4x13x13; A dented Hydrus 3x14x11 & a big eared Bronze/nickle 3x14x11. That ones heavier than a stainless. Picked it up on Ebay.
Ya gotta tell me more about this VA/ Carolina loop, thing.

True words Viz. True words... Temptation

Sounds like you have quite a prop collection. I didn't know you could even get a bronze outboard prop

With the lower gear ratio of the pontoon I bet it has no trouble turning the 4 blade 11 pitch.
Here is some info on the carolina loop, although it looks like most of the pics are no longer working.

We did it again during June last summer, but the flies were out then. I am planning on spending another week on it the first of April. I always enjoy it, long enough to be an adventure, but safe/easy enough to not be overly stressful.

Hey Alex thanks for the link.
You know my parents used to live by the dismal swamp lock, in Chesapeake.
I'd like to take the ditch & keep going South

Hi Gaz
Looks nice
Looks smaller than my 75
I keep comparing the Etec 150 to my 75, size, wt, etc.
For just a few pounds more wt and the same size head, I get..
Double the hp
From 1600cc i4 to 2600cc v6
133 amp alternator
I hope your 115 gives you the performance you are looking for
Fingers X
