New owner
I just ordered my New M Blue (for the sheer speed) Cruising Spin all the bells and whistles . Thanks to everyone for thier input on this forum . It certianly gives a very realistic outlook on what to expect from the boat compared to what you hear about the boat from people who dont have one . Special thanks to Bill at Boats 4 sail. I was gonna get my boat from him because of the great rep he had on this site and my personal conversations with him . His price on the blue hull is not as good as the white by a long shot and he was a 1900 mile drive there and back .I found a dealer 150 miles away that met my requirements . That being said IF I was in the midwest Bill is the Dealer of choice for me . I live near the coast of NC.

The fun of anticipation is only matched by the fun of delivery and commissioning which is exceeded by the fun of being on the water in your own boat which is sometimes exceeded by the satisfaction of performing modifications to make your boat uniquely fitted out for your use, which is... a never ending pleasure. Welcome to this special group of highly intelligent, good looking and friendly boat owners of the best "do it all boat" in the world ........

Bawgy,
Welcome! Just got mine three months ago and having a blast outfitting it just for me. This forum has been a lifesaver. I run between Charleston and Jacksonville and the Mac is great for those sounds and barrier island waters we have down here. Check out West Marine's new boat owner's club. 10% off for 45 days or so.
I used Jim Allred from the SailBoat Centere. He delivered my blue M to my home near Jax and I was extremely pleased with the bottom line and service to date.
Good luck drilling the first holes, it wasn't that bad for me... pedestal depth gage and 12v DC outlets. I bought velcro fasteners to temporarily locate items till I'm sure I want to do a permanent install. I have my VHF radio, another handheld VHF cradle, compass, and hand held GPS afixed with velcro. Will probably reevaluate after the first season.
Best of Luck and enjoy!!!

Congrats!
We live in Apex, NC (near Raleigh). Are you near by?
We bought our used 2001 26X (loaded, great condition, great price) as a beater interim boat now almost three seasons ago, and are still having fun sailing in the Beaufort, NC area and wakeboarding in Jordan Lake.
The maintenance has been very minimal for a boat.
