I have a 1997 Caravan Sport as well as a 2004 Toyota Sienna. I think the Caravan's are not rated for the gross towing weight of the Mac.... but even if they are, IMHO the Caravan's transmission just isn't up to the job - their trannys are marginal to begin with (just search the web for "Chrysler" and "transmission" and you'll see what I mean!). Now, with good care and very regular changing of the transmission fluid (using the *proper* fluid - always use ONLY ATF-3!) the transmission will hold up OK for everyday driving, but IMHO that clutch pack won't hold up for very long at all under the stress of towing a large load like the Mac.
I've towed my smaller Boston Whaler sailboat with our Caravan, and that's no issue because it only weighs around 1500 lbs., but there's now way in God's creation I'd try to to my Mac with it.

Tranny trouble
I burned a tranny once. The tranny is the achilles heel of every Chrysler car and truck made. They just don't hold up when worked hard. I'd advise to not tow the Mac even for short hauls if you have to use a ramp. Big strain on a mariginal tranny gettting Mac out of the water.
