I bought a set of Bill's EZ Cleats and sailed with them twice now. I must say that I like having the jib sheet cleat near the helm. I still use the winches, however. Those of you who say you don't ever use winches must be able to bench 250 lbs. In light winds, no problem, but anything around 15knts+ you gotta winch. The nice thing is that by positioning the EZ cleats halfway on the genoa coaming, I can still reach to pull the sheet with one hand and winch with the other, which is actually a bit more comfortable than using the stock cam cleat. Also, you can ease the sheets any time from the helm position. I give the product a thumbs up. Thanks Bill.

The hammock I use is a Pawley Island type, I think it's called. Kind of like macame rope, with a wood spreader bar on each end, with the ropes coming out to a mounting ring.
On the forward end I cut off and tied off the ropes coming thru the spreader bar and lashed the bar on top of the bow pulpit. This also helps to stabilize the hammock.
I tied a line to the aft mounting ring, led it past the mast on the port side, over the boom, and aft to my starboard sheet winch.
I think if I put track on the aft spreader bar, I could mount my EZ Cleats there.
