I'm wondering whether or not it is possible to view weather radar images on my Palm T3. My current cell phone does not facilitate data connections, so I can't try it for myself right now, but I'm curious as to whether or not anyone has tried this. Seems like it would be a good way to keep an eye on approaching storms.

Just happened to run across this this morning, it's one of the features of Maptech's i3 high end product.
You can get it stand alone as well. Here are some links.

It's available, but not cheap as all things carrying the "Marine" title.

Actually an idea occured to me about 30 years ago, when I was the navigator on the Navy hydrofoil "High Point". The US Coast Guard has a number of radar sites in the Puget Sound that support the vessel traffic system. If they could transmit those realtime images on UHF television channels, every boater in the proximity could benefit from the radars using an inexpensive portable TV. I realize that there's no budget for this kind of thing, but a great idea anyway.

Sure. You would most likely have to scroll around a lot, but there is no reason you couldn't load those pages.
You could also set up avantgo so it loads the most current page each time you sync. This wouldn't be truely live, but it is a way to get a web page if your PDA is not set up for a direct connection.
