New 2004 26M

Post by DaveR-NZ »

Just thought I’d share a picture of my new purchase, towed it home this evening. It’s parked in the driveway so I can give it a bit of a clean, pull the lines off and soak them for a few days and take stock of what needs done before taking it to the mast up compound. Picture of my other boat too, now for sale.

Congrats Dave R. you’ve a great looking boat there and will be getting to a lot of adventures. Tandem axles -nice. Keel guard - looks like there’s some possible beach-time a-coming. Double goal posts. Send pics when you get to splash. ⛵️⛵️⛵️

That's the plan, we have a national park here that's almost untouched, golden sand beaches and lagoons that dry out.

Nice!!
I haven't seen one on a roller trailer. I know thew older ones did not like that because of the water ballast. Caused cracking. I wish mine was white. The blue gets hot real fast in the morning. They are a blast!

Neither the :macm: or :macx: came with a roller trailer, ever. Any that you see were not factory original from MacGregor. They may have been something Australia or New Zealand required; just guessing on that part :)

The factory ones were not suitable for our roads over here. This isn't what they came with when sold new, it's an addition, a very expensive addition. Good point about the rollers and the WB. I will be mindful of trying to drain as much as possible before taking off up the ramp.

Hi DaveR-NZ!

Congratulations!
Well done!

Nice trailer too!
I like the two point bow capture thingamajig!
I assume that it pivots to align itself which is nice.

Here’s to a lot of fun in your coming days!

Best Regards
