Hi community,
Just found this interesting platform and wanted to share it with you.
I contacted the company to get some more information, but it looks very beautiful.

Very interesting. Lots fo money spent on graphics and the video illustration. I'd really like to see one in real life and the cost.

Re: Swim & Fisher platform
See if it’s designed to be easily removed for trailering. This seems to be for a MacGregor which is slipped.

Re: Swim & Fisher platform
I emailed iXi. They immediately responded. Their production platform is a 2000 X model. The price is 4400 euro plus shipping. iXi recommends having a professional crew do the attachment. But, it can be done by us if we’re handy. The platform is attached with screws and adhesive. It can be removed but would necessitate a lot of work. So, regular removal for trailering would not very convenient. iXi sent me a second email a week later stating a special price of 2900 euro and they would pay the shipping.

Re: Swim & Fisher platform
Interesting how the price dropped substantially.
Again, I'd like to see one in real life. I'd also like to see one in use with a large person standing on it. Like this one

At $950 it's much cheaper, although it seems both companies have focused on either the X or M

Re: Swim & Fisher platform
Thank you for the information guys.
The platform of IXI looks very nice and is brilliant.
The thing is that because it is a fixed platform I have to adjust the license of the boat here in Greece.
The platform of profusionmarine is very nice because it is removable.
Even the price is great but the shipment to Europe is very expensive and you have to pay even custom clearance.
Do you know if there is any company in Europe that has such a platform like Profusiomarine to avoid such high shipping costs and custom clearance?

I would like to clarify regarding the price of the iXi platform that it is not true that the platform was ever priced at 2,900 euros. This statement is not accurate in its present form.
It is a fact that you requested a quotation, which you received for 4,400 euros. After that, you indicated that you wished to negotiate the price. In response, you were given an exclusive, personal offer: a price of 3,000 euros, under the condition that, in exchange for the 1,400-euro discount, you would appear with the platform and share your installation experience with our boating community, accompanied by a few photos or a video.
This offer was made exclusively to you, and you chose not to take it.
I do not appreciate when someone misleads our boating community.
Therefore, the price of the platform has never been 2,900 euros, and I consider this a deliberate misrepresentation.
Respectfully,
The iXi Sailing Team

I would like to clarify that the price of the iXi platform has never been reduced. The previous comment was misleading. You are welcome to check out the iXi platform on the iXi Sailing YouTube channel. Here is the link:
The board shown in the picture is mounted on a MacGregor 26M motor at water level. This is not our concept. It causes many problems and is not suitable for the 26X.
The price of the platform has never been 2,900 euros, and I consider any such claim a deliberate misrepresentation.
Respectfully,
The iXi Sailing Team
P.S.: What kind of boat do you have?

Dear Agi,
We are glad to hear that you like the iXi platform. You mentioned that you are planning to purchase a MacGregor 26M. Did you manage to do so?
Best regards,

Re: Swim & Fisher platform
Hello Y'all,
I am making a swim platform like the one Profusion Marine makes. I have hydraulic steering on my Evinrude 115. I asked them if their platform could work on a hydraulic system. He responded that he would look into it and get back with me. As far as I saw he never did.
For the platform I am using four 4’x4’ sheets of pvc laminated together. I had some stainless tubing from another project that near replicates how they did on theirs. Mine will have a two step ladder and u’ish shaped grab handles. I might be done in the middle of December if I’m lucky.
I like how the Profusion platform is lower to the waterline. If they would have gotten back with me I might have bought theirs. I guess it’s nice to be able to build things yourself. Have fun, Tony

Re: Swim & Fisher platform
You have a larger than typical motor on your mac (E115). I don't see how the steering system would matter. Unless I don't understand, I assumed hydraulic steering bits that are in the motor well are relatively the same as rack and pinion steering.

Re: Swim & Fisher platform
Russ,
think the configuration that comes through the motor pivot tube is slightly different. Like I said earlier the person that replied to me initially did not get back to me after I asked about the hydraulic setup I have.
I’m taking the Mac out tomorrow to splash it and take some measurements along with patterning.
I’m going north for thanksgiving so the platform with have to wait till after that. Have fun, Tony

Re: Swim & Fisher platform
Hi Ixi Sailing Team,
Thank you for your question.
I am still in the process to get the license for the boat.
The thing is that because it is a fixed platform I would have to adjust the license of the boat here in Greece and the boat will get longer, which would mean even more expenses and taxes for me
...
That's why I will keep it like this at least for the moment.
But it would be great if you keep us updated even about the platform for the MacGregor 26M.
Best regards
-Agi-
