Most work done, trying to figure out how to hang boom on left side in the highest open space aft, drywall anchors through ceiling? Feels thin there. im thinking 3 adjustable straps on screws with some padding on aide so doesnt crack wall in rough seas when not sailing

To keep some of the bang’n about at bay you might consider using sections of pipe split insulation foam and maybe Velcro straps or strings to keep them in place where they might contact the fiberglass. Lessen the hard bangs and cushions/distributes the force over a larger area.

The bags that I’ve seen for sail storage seem to generally be breathable but i don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone seriously ever place their sails where they could get, never mind stay wet for any length of time….. Mold, mildew, rot, scum and ‘growths’ all come to mind generally culminating in the terms “foul” & “gross” & “WTF” being utilized in varying degrees….. when wet sails are sealed in plastic bags or in wet locations.

thanks i actually glued a long rubber mat to sidewall to keep boom from damaging it. now im on cushions where the velcro just doesnt hold them in rough seas, any alternative solutions? like stronger attachment to vertical seats
