Epoxy / Polyester resin solvent cleaner and prep
I have been using Total boats Dewaxer and Surface Prep. Its a great product but I don't have for the price of 39.99 per gallon. Ive looked up the ads and its basically Naphtha, Alcohol, and Xylene. The SDS gives the range of % for each but of course the formula is a trade secret. Acetone is cheap and readily available but flashes off to quickly. What solvents do you use to prep for epoxy or fiberglass resins?

I prep with acetone - removes all greases and waxy residues.
I clean up with alcohol, but it's important to clean up whilst the resin is still uncured. Afterwards, there's not really any solvent that will clean it up.
