Trailer overhang
I’ve been looking at new trailers as mine is old and rusted . I’ve noticed the factory trailer has the rear of the boat overhanging about 2 ft. If read online this is bad for Fiberglas boats… they should be supported to the transom. Wondering what everyone’s experience has been and if it’s not worth worrying about

Re: Trailer overhang
Thousands of our boats hanging off the back of the trailer and it's never been a problem. Don't worry.

Re: Trailer overhang
I hope Roger designed it to support the overhang well. I like that the trailer is not so long

Re: Trailer overhang
Mine hangs off at least 2', maybe more. It's been on the same trailer for a bit over 22 years now with no ill effects.
