I'm not aware of any source for a new companionway hatch. They are not complicated to make. There are several versions in the Modifications section of the main site.

If you just want to make something simple that will fit I (or any one else if they get to it first) can send you the dimensions.

This may help, if it is the vertical insert and not the sliding hatch.

Bennkat, The stock washboard hatch is cumbersome, all agree. You may want to consider eliminating it completely, which is what I did (8) years ago with no regrets. Still use washboard for road transport and when in storage, but leave it in the truck when cruising. I cut a piece of HD bug screen and 100mil vinyl (to create curtains) that is sandwiched between two pieces of 1” alum flat stock at the top. Use the two bolts from hatch handle to attach curtain on inside of sliding hatch. Curtain hangs on outside (in cockpit) and seals against the forward surface due to incline of this surface. Can roll up the vinyl and tie to hatch handle on hot buggy nights or leave down when raining. Have been in some serious blows on bow or stern anchor and the 100mil vinyl stays in place and doesn’t flog. The HD screen keeps out mosquitoes but is too course for ‘no-see-ums’. Estimate $30 mat’l cost for your consideration. Enjoy, Closehaul

Bennkat, May want to inquire Zacor to see if they have a design for the 26X. https://www.zarcor.com/products/c-doors/index.php

Yeah, I couldn't stand bangin' that giant thing around so I built my own.
Two piece mahogany. Easier to store and quieter to bang around.

I stand corrected. Someone does make a replacement. With a $1095 base price I think I'd still make my own though. :|

It appears that my information was incorrect. Why didn't anyone correct me :?: :? Opinions are one thing, but being factual is important.

It was not incorrect, it was just not applicable. I would have worked on your boat. We forgive you.
