he puts it in that bottle & sprays it on the dock around his boat it keeps the sea otters off the docks & wild Minks from trying to board ur boat it only smells to the human nose until it dries up, but the scent is absorbed into the wood docks & they "critters" can still smell it for 4-6 wks & it also keeps them from eating crabs & other shell fish & crapping on the docks so as U now know ! :wink:
