This probably doesn't help, I mounted speakers under the stern rail seats. Can't see them at all and they aim forward.
Folks seem to have gotten creative.

We went with the Bluetooth speakers. Don't even use the stereo anymore. I'm taking it out this year. Tablet or phone (in zip lock) n speaker are great to take to beach if wanted.

Late to the party (damned wife as always heh) but I have two 6.5" speakers in the cabin and two 5.25" in the pedestal in the cockpit. I'd REALLY like to put some in the bench somewhere because they'd sound a lot better but they'd constantly be getting kicked I'm afraid.
