Fishing in the middle keys

Just curious if anyone has fished much around islamorada .....its where I plan to go again this year.... last year I bought a top spot map a chum bag and two big blocks of chum went on the map to one of their spots that said "great patch reef fishing" while I did catch one really big barracuda it wasn't what I was going for I wanted to catch a big grouper or enough fish to grill for a week straight (high aspirations yes lol) but got skunked on edible fish......where does one go to catch big grouper or yellowtail that a person can get to in a reasonable time in a slow macgregor coming out of snake creek bridge

I was just at Ohio key and the north bridge was loaded with big snappers.
