Mac 26 C

OK fellows as question has arisen .. we see reference on the internet to a Mac 26 C it even has a different PHDF # than the S though yet both are swing Keels.. Was there ever a Macgregor 26 C or is that a misnomer and is used to explain both the s and d and the small motors and low free board???

Yes the C is considered Classic both S and D. At our lake the PHRF on the S is 222, D 216.

Although Wings, a realy fast D with a good skipper has been modified to 201.

They modified mine las year to 219.

Hi Vizwhiz.. We did well.. By the time it got to PORT Charlotte it turned a hard East and went past quickly.. We saw Gust close to 100mph but never quiet there. We lost water in the Harbor for up to a MILE from shore.. My canal which in the middle is over 9 feet deep was about 3 feet deep ... I did more damage to my getting it TOO close to a set of Palms to ratchet strap it, than the actual storm wind did.. The wind did shove it up hard against the Palms but all is good and its all repairable and nothing beyond cosmetic damage. Life is good in SWF Its The 6th Winter I haven't had to shovel and blow snow!!
