Looking for recommendations...

Post by henecle »

Starting the road back to sailing again after about four years away. Just got the boat cleaned up and cleaned out but now she needs a good technical going through, outboard, instruments, electronics, some upgrades and installations. Anyone able to recommend a Mac-friendly boat yard in the D.C./Annapolis area that they have used successfully? Thanks in advance for any support.

There is a pretty familiar bunch in Mayo MD in your area - Ive sailed with Colonel King out of there. Lots of Macs and people who know them. Maybe search on 'mayo' (hold the Hamm) to find a link or contact?

Thanks. I bought my first Mac :mac19: over in Edgewater, MD. There were/are a good number of Macs over there. I believe that there was a Mac dealer (A-1 Sailboats) in Edgewater/Mayo that contributed to the cluster of boats in the area. Hopefully someone over in that area will have had a positive experience that they are willing to share.
