I leave the sail cover on mine, and also the topping lift. Makes it easier to swing it back without help, and bring the forward end into the cabin. Then I pop it off and put the boom the rest of the way into the cabin.Nauti Nell wrote:. . . I left the cover on the main and just detached the boom with cover on. But leaving it on the mast sure would be quicker. Going to have to give it a try this spring.
