Lets see: Knobby knees. Madras shorts. MacGregor spinnaker. All it took was the first two seconds to know who it was.

Re: Man I miss this...
Wow, Jimmyt, thanks thanks and thanking you greatly for taking the time to show me this -
I suspect the problem is that Google is not letting anyone 'see' pictures on their Google servers unless they also 'log on' to Google. How really lame and stupid and childish of Google to try to force people to use their services. The free market does not mean a thing to these software hack heads that own the internet.
I call it the Bill Gatification of the software industry:
Bill Gates created the software industry in such a way that the model is you FORCE you customers with bundles of software and FORCE them to use only the programs you want them to use - This model is still in practice today - no free market here - In my book Gates is an anti American anti- Capitalist Commi who is no better than the Railroad and Oil Company Robber Barons of the 1800's. Gates is the same scum - just like Rockefeller and also just like Rockefeller no amount of philanthropy will ever redeem him from what he did. People who do evil to others can't buy redemption.
Anyways - so much for Google.
So you posted something called 'screencast'? Is that a site I can use for my pictures? Is that what I should use Jimmy?
Again, thank you greatly for your help.

Re: Man I miss this...
Boat,
Glad to help.
I use postimage.org. I'm still trying to get good at it myself, but if you can see what I tried to post, it must work ok.
That little screencast blurb at the bottom of the page is postimage.org doing some advertising on me - sorry.
Postimage.org is free, and fairly straight-forward (obviously, since I was able to figure it out).
The "hotlinks(1)" option seems to give decent quality pics.
Thumbnails are smaller and lesser quality than the hotlinks.
Screencast seems to be a screen capture utility. I just did a screen capture from my iPad and uploaded it to postimage.org. Not very fancy, but got the job done. One of the other guys would have given it to you from a drone shot with musical soundtrack and fade in/out, but I'm just not that good.

Re: Man I miss this...
Jeez, Boat. Tell us what you really think.
I use tinypic.com for quick image posting. I also use photobucket.com, but if I move or delete a photo, it's lost on any forum with a link to it, plus my account is getting too full of one-off posting photos. That's the sort of thing tinypic is good for. And you don't need an account or anything - just go on to the site, upload the pic, answer the 'security' (anti-bot) question if it asks (every other time these days), and copy and paste the link with the ubb code already on each end.
