I admit... Watch it a work on my 4k monitor. Color was amazing. Then went home and put on the wide screen. My wife and I watch it until 1am. Thanks for the inspiration. Got the next morning and called the business broker about listing the company. We are getting close to pulling the plug. Getting the RV and hooking up the Mac.

Thanks! I really appreciate that! As the morning sun first hit the canyon walls, it was absolutely stunning. The two docks and the dozen campsites on Kingfisher Island were each positioned so that you had a commanding view!

Good luck on the RV/Mac trips! I wish we could do more of them as there are so many places (lakes, rivers, coastal waters) we'd love to explore.

Thanks Doug :)

I'm sure it's a lot of work. But you keep the dream real for us - as well as your family.

I thought I'd share the reverse view from my bow - if it wasn't covered :P

You two have such great videos....love seeing them! I am in the UK now, but am seriously thinking about bringing my :macm: with me in a few years to VT and basically do what you are doing....travel with it and sail all different types of areas. I am going to try to do a version of your lazy jack system this spring as well...might need some pointers.

Until then, if you are over in my part of the world, let me know and we'll do some coastal sailing.

Thanks, David! I really appreciate it. The Sci-Fi geek in me likes the name of your boat!

I got the lazy jack / sail cradle system for $125 at Strictly Sail Chicago. We really like it. Now that I know how it works, I'm sure I could have built one myself for less money but more work!

Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and Mass.. like the entire west coast is on my bucket list but I currently can only take up to two weeks off work so travel range is limited usually up to 1500 miles each way. I'll envy seeing pictures of your trips up there! :) In about 4 or 5 years, I'll be able to take 3 weeks for a trip; perhaps we'll sail then. I'm trying to figure out the optimal time to sail to the Biminis in 2017-- in just 2 weeks... chuckle... might have to call work, "hello? um... we're stuck in the Biminis... waiting for a weather window...what??? You'll have to let me go? we then, we'll be here another month then..." :D

hahaha That was funny! I was expecting to see your boat under sail as viewed from the bow pulpit! :D

Doug,

We will be up there in about six years. Until then, I just have to make do with sailing around the UK...maybe across the Channel. You folks are always welcome to join me, if you can stand the added speed of a sleek, white-hulled :macm:

Post lots of pictures sailing the UK...that's an adventure in itself! I grew up reading all the classic British sailing novels! And every modern set I can find!

BTW, I don't know if I could handle the tremendous speeds produced by White hulls... I've seen how fast you all drop off behind my blue hiney... it's unnerving!!! :P :D
