Ray, how did you do the "knife edge" on the back cushions. I need to make back cushions and have a lot of extra foam, but don't know how to taper them.
I cut the seat foam with an electric carving knife. Keeping the edge perpendicular is tricky.
I covered the foam with vapor barrier plastic that they use in house construction and taped them with the red tucktape sometimes used to seal a recently damaged vehicle at the body shop. It has worked perfectly for 4 years now. I also changed the zipper thinghy and am satisfied with the zipper. I think I covered and taped twice.
