Thats what I figured, think one bottle of polish will be enough?Don't worry about the interior. That'll buff right out.
Same spot after a little polish...aka a week with a grinder and wire wheel, 2 gallons acetone, 6 gallons of 2 part epoxy barrier coat on the inside. I used the tuffstuff epoxy same as barrier coat on the X. Its suggested for bilges as well as barrier coating. It is really "tough stuff" Bumping it with an angle grinder wont even nick it. Eventually 99% of all the paint will be covered with actual interior.

Suppose so. Its actually no wider than most of the 30+ monos on the dock but obviously much lighter and shallower draft. Should be perfect for the light winds and shallow waters of the chesapeake. Roughly 30'x14', 6,000lbs, kick up rudders and boards 18" up, 2.5' down.Well, Matt, I guess that's another way to get a really wide boat. I guess Benetue is not the only wide boat out there.
your post got me thinking...where there ever any hi speed motor sailors cats that were built in the mac size range.
same principal as the macs- just in a cat configuration- but with a 20 mph speed, possibly water ballast too?
Doing some research found a few later models were made by a company in the US (1990s) and twin 90s was an option from the factory, supposedly cruised at 25mph and they advertised water skiing
All the windows have been resealed and re bedded with butyl tape. All the hardware except the new deck cleats on order and traveler track has been epoxy filled, redrilled and rebedded.

Roof soft spots recored and painted with kiwigrip nonskid.
