I will never be a carpenter, cabinet maker or wood worker. I am however very cheap, not exactly well off but willing to make anything I need with my frugal backyard redneck craftsmanship... hence the multiple iterations of some of my mods...

I did a new hatch over the mirror tonight..

along with another hatch in the dead space across from the head..

and will finish these new shelf compartments this weekend!

Just dim the lights, pop open a beer, squint and it looks awesome! Do all that while heeling or after the 9th beer and the mods actually look straight and level... :?

Don't sell yourself short Doug, those pics look good and I'd be proud to have that on my boat! Beats the hull out of what I do with duct tape and a 12-pack of beer any day!

Nice - so when can you come down and make me a new cockpit hatch - two sections - nice wood look. :)
