Two of the original ones fit very nicely. 8)

Last Spring I bought 2 of the new design Moeller 12 Gallon tanks. I had to enlarge the openings slightly on my 26X to fit them. I wrapped the tanks with Motorcycle shipping straps, (courtesy of my local BMW dealer) to facilitate pulling them out of the openings when I need to.

Works great!

Happy with them, I now have impressive range with my Honda 50.

I obviously don't know. All I know is that two of the original (and I bought extras when they stopped making them and they fit also) fit very nicely side by side. Even fueled up I can move them in and out /up-and-down - but not side-by-side. 8)
