customer service

Post by raycarlson »

Just a word of quality customer service to pass on for Discount Tire. Just had two seven year old, 25,000 mile Goodyear Marathon radials replaced free of charge(minus 19$ certificate cost) one had sidewall puncture non-repairable, the other a ply separation in tread. In support of dual axle mod to the Mac aluminum trailer, the tire with the side wall puncture was noticed at the boat ramp when getting boat ready to unload, it was totally empty of pressure yet was unnoticeable when driving, from more then 5 feet away it appeared to have a normal sidewall profile and made no abnormal noise. I only noticed it as I was feeling hubs for temperatures. It happened somewhere in a 130mi drive, trailer handled fine. Happy I didn't have to change it on the side of the hiway.
