Loose Motor Control Arm
The motor control arm that is attached to the steering wheel pedestal on my MAC26M is loose. There is a little plastic spring-loaded pin that has popped out. The arm looks and feels like it could come off. Does anyone know how to repair this? I would include pictures but I don't know how.

Re: Loose Motor Control Arm
It may be helpful to reference the brand of the control.
Is the 'spring-loaded pin' more of a threaded knob?
What is the condition of the Henweigh?

Re: Loose Motor Control Arm
sounds like the bwy quick disconnect. If it's what I'm thinking you probably lost the retainer clip then lost the sleeve and the spring. Should have an identical setup on the opposite end?? If so i'd be giving bwy a call and seeing about parts or a full replacement. (bwy=Blue water yachts)
Edit: Nope after re-reading not the quick connect. Sorry

Re: Loose Motor Control Arm
By "motor control arm" do you mean the throttle/shift lever or a part of the steering system
To post a pic you need to upload it to a site like photobucket or tinypic then copy the link and paste it in your post. If you click the img button above the dialog box when creating a post it'll give you the delimiters in square brackets. Paste your link between them ie. '" except no quotation marks(if I didn't put the quotes you would be able to see the square brackets etc).

I don't think he's gonna tell us John. His profile more a love em / leave em than joining a community. I think he fixed it once he found the henweigh!

Re: Loose Motor Control Arm
I found out the problem. The arm on my pedestal that controlled shifting and throttle was coming loose. I found out that there is an allen screw that locks the arm in place....had come loose. I tightened it and it worked fine.
