Mini Loop Progress

Post by mdeane »

We started our adventure we like to call the "Mini Loop" on May 21st at Blain's Bay Marina, Cohoes, NY. Our plan is to return there late August traveling down lake Champlain to the Hudson and back to the Erie Canal. Click on the link to view our progress to date. We plan to visit the 1000 Islands, NY, Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec along the way.

We have learned there is a name for our trip, it's called the Triangle. Our trip has an extra leg going out to Quebec.
Our progress is illustrated on the following link.

Where does the time go? We really enjoyed Old Quebec City with all it's sights, good food and friendly people. We're about to make the turn south heading for Lake Champlain. Our route to date can be viewed at the following.

I can't say enought good things about the friendly folks we have met in our travels. So far we have covered 737.4 NM. Our estimate for the complete triangle is 960 NM.
