Mine is still in the Erie Canal, sans mast, in trawler mode. Image

Same old engine.

Probably going to pull it this weekend and put the mast and rigging back on. Gotta fully rig it as it's real easy to leave something off unless actually running the sails up and all. A bit of work, but good insurance.

I also want to find the leaks that are plaguing it. They're not from the chainplates, which I rebedded and I'm quite sure they're not leaking, nor is it the mast tabernacle/hinge plate. It's probably the sliding hatch, as that's a common area, and mine's got a few years on it. :|

I've come out of lurking:-)

HELLOOOO 8)

It's been a really busy summer for us, and continues to get more hectic. We've been waiting until last minute to see what we wanna/can do. That being either bring our Mac up, or join someone else if they had the room and then sleep in our conversion van. We met a cool couple with a Mac X and we've been doing Hanlans and Cherry Beach anchors together since! They were thinking of going up as well, so will be shooting him the details....

As it stands, right now, our trailer probably isn't overly road worthy, and we're not keen (or good at) taking everything apart and unloading the boat (it's stuffed full of water toys, kite boards, etc), taking all the canvas off....and then we need to get a ride up to get the trailer in Brampton, bring it back down town, co-ordinate, etc....so yeah....booo hiss to us! :-(

If anyone has room on their boat for us and possibly my kitty cat (big fluffy himalayan who loves sailing and the boat....he also holds his #1 and #2 in the entire day so he's good like that!), let me know!

Cheers:-)

Ok so we are heading up with our Mac buddies and going to sail with them! Gonna sleep in the conversion van....so this works well!
I think we are heading up early on the 10th. Is anyone going to be there then? Will likely take a trip to Orillia to hit a bar/club there and then head back to Lagoon City in the morning! :-)

Well this stinks on ice. We have a 'situation' here with extended family. The short of it is, I have stuff to handle here, and can't make it this weekend.

I'm pretty bummed out, as this was my 'big' sailing trip for the summer.

I'm afraid I'll have to enjoy the trip vicariously through posts and pics.

That's too bad Tom, I was looking forward to sailing with you since we only met last year at the launch ramp. Ross you and the admiral are welcome to stay on my boat since I'm pretty sure I'll be alone. John I'm rooting for you to get that engine working well ( or else you may have to be my cabin boy :? ) Cat, I'm looking forward to finally meeting u and your husband, we always seem to miss each other by a day or 2. Beene, thanks for coming up with a new port for MMOR. From the pictures you've sent me it looks like it's going to be fun. Still not sure when I'm going up, either Thurs evening or Friday morning.

Thanks Rocky, at the present rate we may end up sleeping with everyone (did I just say that! :o ), or tenting nearby. Either way, Friday night or Saturday, we'll be there and look forward to seeing everybody.
Tom, sorry to hear that. :( Get your planning wheels in action for next years St.Lawrance we'll definitely be waterborne by then - and try to sweet talk Jerry into joining up once again.
Skitter Skatter guys..... see you soon.
