Like a truck bed liner? I've been using sailkote this year under the fenders, really cuts down the squeaking and I assume the chafing

No I mean the trailer fenders
I just replaced my axle with two axles now have to put on new double fenders they are steel and after under coat and top coat I was wondering if spray on stone guard or like rubberized coat on the underside would help fight rust or cause more problems

:D :D :D My misunderstanding.
I'd go for it. That stuff is pretty bomb proof. That or truck bed liner should do the same thing, although I did some a few weeks ago (can't remember the brand). Looks good but the dogs nails are taking it off in layers. Really hard with no give, nothing like quality bed liner spray.

Don't use steel, and if you do don't spray stonegaurd on them youll increase corrosion, use aluminum or fiberglass fenders and save yourself the troubles.

My steel fenders are original 1999 issue, and still fine, with nothing but black paint on them.

But it's never seen salt water.
