I have the Windline URM-2 ready to be installed. Will be the Roller for my Fortress 11 anchor and will be on roller all times sailing.
Bow Rail Danforth 13lb hangs there with rode/chain.
I am considering doing the Delta Plow at roller and Put the Fortress on the Rail.
Since I am in SW Florida and many sea grass I don't want to plow thru it, but many times the Danforth will destroy sea grass thru dragging than a plow type.
I have 30 ft. of chain on all 3 anchors to reduce drag.

Our main anchor currently resides in the locker (well its actually too big so took of the lid)...also have a backup stored in the cockpit (slightly smaller but still bigger than needed)...both CQR style with more than adequate chain...and also have a large heavy folding grapnel again with chain...which I haven't tried
Have purchased a drum winch to be installed in the anchor well of our 26X and a bowsprit on which I will install a roller/keeper

And I actually saw Red Buttons perform live at the Steel Pier in Alantic City, NJ in 1968. It was less than a dollar to get onto the pier with all of its attractions, and an extra quarter to get a better seat in the theater. I was eighteen, and working as a busboy in one of the hotels that were there in better times.

To tell you the truth, I did not even know about it until it was over. I was with some friends on AC's beach on my day off when one of them said he had just returned from Woodstock. I didn't have a clue of what he was talking about. :D

When I went to see the movie, the girl I was dating at the time practically jumped out of her seat when it came to the scene of everyone buck bathing in a pond. She recognized one of her girlfriends. :)

I have a delta 22 on the stock roller. Works fine. It does contact the hull a bit, but a small plate of aluminum or plastic could fix that if I was so concerned.
I have a manual windlass to pull it, that works well. I also have a fortress and light line stowed on the bow rail
I have a much larger fortress below, with 200 feet of line, but no chain

Hi Bob here.
This for Highlander.
When I clicked on your first Pic, I went to Photobucket and was able to see that jpeg Pic and could use the arrows to scrole through all of your other Pics. Now when I select the same Pic I only get that one, no arrows. What am I doing wrong?.
How do I log on so can I see all of your Fantastic Photo Bucket Pics again.
Thanks from another Scot from Dundee.

Thanks for all the responses...interesting to see how many don't really have any accessory for the anchor and just handle it manually. I'm sure much of this revolves around the type of sailing people do and home waters, etc. I feel much better about putting the delta i have in a tube i have... :)

I wasn't, was down on a lake front desired Log Cabin that a group of ours called it our own in Cape Cod, Much better than Woodstock at the time.
At the time we had Sailboats anchoring in Hyannis Harbor that drifted to our Log Cabin.
One of main reason I started Sailing and on to Sail the World.
I can probably be safe to say this wood cabin that was vacant and had a large stone fire place setting on waterfront with about 50 hippies or more and Elect. was hot wired from elct. pole.
We had Sailors from all parts of the World and locals staying at our lodge.
I never new who owned it and neither did anyone else.
I always worked my day Job and spent time with the Hippies .(Some Friends)
