So I was at my marina today (Pier 32) to drop off the new sails and some other equipment that's going onto the boat, when I spied another Mac in the water. Went down and chatted with the (new) owners who were washing it down. They'd bought it a month earlier and were one it for the first time. Good couple of guys, a father-in-law and son-in-law.
Up the dock was another Mac in the water, three more in Mast-up along the quay wall, and as I was leaving I spied a Mac X coming in, so I went down and line handled for them. They'd also just bought and were becoming familiar with the boat, having not yet hoisted the sails.
I think we're up to six Macs at Pier 32 at this point.

Just for kicks i'd like to know how many new boats in the 3-5 hundred-thousand price range have joined your pier this year.Any observations off the top of your head??

Well, there are a surprising number of 60' cabin cruisers, so a lot. The avg. boat at Pier 32 is in the 100..250 range.

Best marina in the big bay, I'm going thru withdrawals as I type. Think I will take a nape in the boat on the side of the house today lol.
