If I only had a property with that kind of space available.
As it is, I live in the city with no space at all.... have to go outside just to change my mind!
Have to keep my boat 1 hour drive away.
Always wishing she was close by so I could work on her more often.
You sure have a sweet setup.
Cheers

Yes, it is a tight fit in the city. I can barley fit it all in. There are also a lot of restrictions - they don't let me use the back yard for 'stuff', only the side yards are allowed to have vehicles of any kind and the city does not want to be able to see the stuff from the street.. City life is sort of full of a lot of rules. From the street at my place you can't tell at all I have a boat unless I have the mast up.
I think most of us are in cities because of work, but for me I just can't stand to be very far from the ocean and since almost all the homes on the coast are in a city I'm stuck in a city too. If I was a gazzillionaire I would have a home on some lonley bluff overlooking the Pacific. Since I am not a gazzillionair the next best deal to get close to the Pacific is a boat.
I wonder what it's like in Austrailia? I wonder if they have homes right on the beach? I hear that thier summertime is in December.

My youngest son (the wakeboarder) is doing a semester abroad in Queensland starting mid-July. It's above the Tropic of Capricorn, which makes it tropical. I'm jealous. And I'm paying for it.BOAT wrote:I wonder what it's like in Austrailia? I wonder if they have homes right on the beach? I hear that thier summertime is in December.
I'll report back if I'm not too aggravated.

Having just looked up the location and climate for the Falkland Islands, I can see why you'd feel that way. Yikes!JohnCFI wrote:It's over rated, sunshine is actually bad for youBOAT wrote:I wonder what it's like in Austrailia? I wonder if they have homes right on the beach?
