Hey Willy! When you're finished, come out east and help me chip some more ice off my boat (sigh...).

Drove to the lake the other day... saw Iceboats sailing on TOP of the water.

My boat is still under a tarp because it's still surrounded by 2-3 feet of snow all around....and we are expecting another dumping this week. Just lovely.

Well...my excuses are many, but when I'm 10km from home watching everyone on the Bay my excuses seem feeble.

We're expecting over 100mm more rain this week(4").
Twice last week we got over 100mm in 24hrs.

I have a ton of winter projects not finished on Whipsyjac.

3"ballast hole(I still have small orig)
6v house batteries installed(I'm leaning to bow now, although under settee may still work)
Clean up
Steering fix
Johnson lever on forestay
New sheets for new genny(can't wait to unfurl that bad boy! its all racy with my hull# and telltale windows)

On and on and on and on it goes!

Hey Whipsyjac, since you are in White Rock consider having a look at MYCBC.CA , it is a MacGregor Club of BC and we have over 60 boat memberships. Maybe you'd like to join in on the spring MacFoulie April 7th or the Blaine Regattta May 2nd, both events will be a hoot, feel free to check us out.
And Gator Dunn, we have a Vancouver Island chapter with a few members that join our events, feel free to look over the website and see which events you might like to join in on. It is sailing season soon and a lot of the Macs here in the PNW get together for fun and sailing, new members are always welcome! :D
