After 7 years and many many fun voyages, near and far, I am now giving up my trusty Mac.

Though I very much still like the Mac, at this season it has been replaced by other vessel(s) more suited for this season.
I want to say a big Thank You! to all of you on this forum. I have very much enjoyed learning / sharing.
I am posting the link above as one last way to share with this group some of the many mods that I have done over the years, some very much inspired by others on this forum.

That's a sweet boat. Mine had a LOT of stuff in it when I got it, but it wasn't as neatly outfitted as yours, not be a long shot. So I ripped most of it out. Now it's a blank slate again.
I'm going to borrow a few ideas from those pics of yours, if you don't mind.
By the way, your listing refers to the 50 hp E-Tec as a 4-stroke. Aren't the E-Tec's all 2-stroke engines?
I hope you get your price, and I hope the new owner finds this place.

That is a sweet rig the thing is you wont know if you make the reserve price until the auction ends and the snipers all fire at once.

Of course you are most welcome to do so. That is why I've posted the link here. Several of those mods came from ideas / inspiration from others on this group!tkanzler wrote: I'm going to borrow a few ideas from those pics of yours, if you don't mind.![]()
You are absolutely correct. I researched E-Tec some more, and indeed E-Tec means 2-stroke. But I know mine is a 4-stroke. So I just went out to the boat and checked again, and found mine is an Evinrude "EFI" (Electronic Fuel Injection) 4-stroke, not an "ETEC" 2-stroke. Have posted the correction on the listing - thanks!tkanzler wrote:By the way, your listing refers to the 50 hp E-Tec as a 4-stroke. Aren't the E-Tec's all 2-stroke engines?
I hope so too - Thanks!!tkanzler wrote:I hope you get your price, and I hope the new owner finds this place.

Yes there appears to be a lot of potential snipers (watchers). I had the bidding start at $1 (one dollar). When the dust settles after the sniper wars it certainly would be interesting to know what the market values our much loved Macs.Ormonddude wrote:That is a sweet rig the thing is you wont know if you make the reserve price until the auction ends and the snipers all fire at once.
